10th Annual Membership Meeting
Held via Zoom, hosted by Gloria Nemerowicz, President
The 2020 Annual Membership Meeting was held virtually, via Zoom. Twenty-two member schools were represented at the meeting. A financial update was provided, and members endorsed the 2021 operating budget. The collaborative projects currently underway with the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the National Science Foundation, Ascendium Education Solutions and The Teagle Foundation were highlighted. Kathleen Ross, president emerita of Heritage University, was recognized for her three consecutive terms of service to the Coalition as Secretary and member of the Board of Directors and was acknowledged with an honorary lifetime Associate membership in the Coalition. Mablene Krueger, past president of Robert Morris University-Illinois and current COO of Roosevelt University, was also acknowledged for her service to the Coalition as Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors and was presented with an honorary lifetime Associate membership in the Coalition. Helen Streubert, president of Saint Elizabeth University, was confirmed as a Director of the Coalition for a term effective December 2, 2020 through June 30, 2021. Bassam Deeb, president of Trocaire College, was confirmed as a Director of the Coalition for a term effective December 2, 2020, through June 30, 2023, and Roslyn Clark Artis, president of Benedict College, was confirmed as a Director of the Coalition for a term effective July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2024. Andrew Sund, president of Heritage University, was confirmed as Treasurer of the Coalition, and Quint Thurman, president of the University of the Southwest, was confirmed as Secretary of the Coalition.
